MaryLynn Schiavi’s career spans journalism, corporate communications, video and television. As a content creator and producer she specializes in science, technology, medicine and law.
She served as the writer, associate producer, host and narrator of the Emmy Award winning Matter & Beyond television series. Through interviews with scientists, philosopher, psychologists, and multidisciplinary researchers, Matter & Beyond explored the philosophical and ethical dimensions of science and technology and was acknowledged with a Regional Emmy Award for an episode Ms. Schiavi wrote, devoted to Artificial Intelligence.
In addition to corporate and industrial videos, she produced an educational talk show which airs / streams on Princeton Community TV titled: Pro Se Nation: understand the law for oneself.
Ms. Schiavi earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University in journalism and political theory with a minor in philosophy. She studied religious philosophy at Drew University Graduate School and acting / scene study at: The Real Stage with Betty Buckley, HB Studios, the University of Miami, and Circle in the Square Theater School.
